Includes:

  • Local transport from Pathankot/Dharamshala to Camp and back (Camp-Dharamshala/Pathankot).
  • Accommodation on a multi-sharing basis with camp cots, pillows, and blankets at the base camp.
  • Full-board camping and trekking experience in alpine tents with sleeping bags.
  • Meals as per the itinerary.
  • Services of a Camp Leader.
  • Tents and sleeping bags.
  • Adventure activities as per the itinerary.
  • Camping and forest fees, etc.
  • Travel insurance for every participant.

Excludes:

  • Evacuation charges, damage of any nature, entry permits, and entrance fees at monasteries.
  • Insurance.
  • Personal expenses, tips, laundry, telephone calls, personal medicines, and expenses incurred due to reasons beyond our control, such as bad weather or roadblocks due to landslides, etc.
  • Anything not specified in the itinerary.
  • Any increase in road taxes, entrance fees, or any other government-imposed taxes.

Tour Plan

On the first day, participants are required to report at the main entrance of Nagpur/Pune/Raipur Railway station.

Upon reaching Ambala Cant., the journey proceeds to Dharamshala by Volvo bus.

Courses/Adventure Activity – Zipline/Short Orientation Walk. The day kicks off with a session on rope knots and adventure activity, Zipline. Participants engage in an obstacle course featuring the Commando net, Burma Bridge, and Mogli walk. A short orientation walk around the camp concludes the day's activities.

Day Trek to Upper Camp/Adventure Activities – River Crossing & Rappelling

An easy and delightful trek along the river Khauli leads to a meadow in an enchanting forest. Adventure activities such as River Crossing and Rappelling add excitement to the day.

Height Gain Day to Snow Point

Participants embark on a day trek towards the snow zone and glaciers, heading to Rehla, the base for Baleni pass. Crossing the river at various sections and treading on glaciers provides a thrilling experience.

Trek to Upper Handi/Team Building Activities

The day involves a trek to the upper Handi ridge for great views, descending down to Chandrela Temple, and back to Handi Camp in a circular route. Camp winding up and descending back to the base camp conclude the day's adventures.

Trek Back to Base Camp

Engaging in low rope courses like Burma Bridge and Commando Net marks the day as participants trek back to the base camp.

Departure from Campsite

A full day is dedicated to Kangra tour, Norbilngka, Cricket stadium, and McLeodganj sightseeing. The day concludes with a drive back to Ambala.

Participants reach Ambala railway station and board the train back to Nagpur.

The journey concludes as participants reach back to their respective destinations, marking the end of the program.

Do's and Don'ts

Do’s:

  • Wear appropriate and comfortable clothing and footwear for outdoor activities.
  • Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.
  • Follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the camp staff.
  • Respect the local culture, customs, and traditions.
  • Keep the campsite and surrounding areas clean.
  • Respect wildlife and nature.
  • Participate in all activities with enthusiasm and an open mind.
  • Be kind, polite, and respectful to others.
  • Pack light and carry only essential items.

Don’ts:

  • Engage in any illegal or dangerous activities.
  • Litter or damage to the natural environment.
  • Disrupt other campers or disturb the peace.
  • Bring alcohol or any prohibited items on the trip.
  • Engage in any activity that may put oneself or others at risk.
  • Ignore the safety rules and guidelines provided by the camp staff.
  • Be disrespectful to the local culture, customs, and traditions.
  • Litter or damage the bus or train.
  • Smoke or light up any type of fire on the bus or train.
  • Disrupt other passengers or cause a disturbance.

Note:  The itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.
