Manali-Leh Cycling Expedition (Camping Trip)
Embark on an extraordinary adventure with our Manali-Leh Cycling Expedition, a journey that unfolds as one of the most scenic, challenging, and sought-after mountain biking routes globally. Covering a distance of 550 km over 10 days, cyclists traverse through breathtaking landscapes, conquering high passes such as Rohtang (3900 m), Baralacha La (4800 m), Nakee La (4900 m), Lachung La (5050 m), and Tanglang La (5260 m), which boasts the title of the world’s second-highest motorable road. The route presents a mix of tarmac and unmetalled roads, offering a diverse and thrilling cycling experience.
As you enter the Lahaul valley from Manali, picturesque villages dot your path, but beyond Darcha, the terrain transforms into wild, untamed country with no permanent villages until you reach Tanglang La, closer to Leh. For enthusiasts seeking an additional challenge, a cycle ride to Khardung-La, the highest motorable road globally, is an optional 80 km round trip starting and ending in Leh.
