Located at a breathtaking elevation of around 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, Bhrigu Lake offers a pristine and awe-inspiring setting for an unforgettable experience. This serene lake is situated to the east of Rohtang Pass, approximately 6 kilometers from Gulaba village. To reach this hidden gem, you can embark on a trek starting either from the renowned Vashishth temple, known for its hot water springs near Manali, or from the picturesque Gulaba village.
Scenic Trekking Routes:
Explore the stunning landscapes and diverse flora of the Pir Panjal mountain range as you trek to Bhrigu Lake. Choose between trekking from the Vashishth temple or the scenic route from Gulaba village, each offering a unique perspective of the Himalayan beauty.
Sacred Serenity:
Immerse yourself in the sacred ambiance of Bhrigu Lake, named after Maharishi Bhrigu, a revered sage. Legend has it that the sage used to meditate near the lake, rendering it sacred. Locals believe in the divine connection, ensuring that the lake never freezes completely.
Hot Springs at Vashishth Temple:
Begin your journey at the famous Vashishth temple, known for its hot water springs. Before the trek, indulge in the soothing warmth of these natural springs, providing a perfect prelude to the adventure ahead.

Departure from Nagpur to Ambala.
Report at Nagpur Railway Station and proceed for Ambala.
Arrival in Ambala - Enroute to Manali
Reach Ambala and board a Volvo bus to Manali.
Arrival in Manali - Camp Apple Farm
Upon reaching Manali, transfer to Camp Apple Farm. Get oriented with the camp setup and equipment introduction, and acclimatize with a walk to Gautama Rishi Ashram at Goshal Village.
Trek to Jogini Waterfall and Vashishtha Kund
Embark on a trek to Jogini Waterfall and Vashishtha Kund, a natural hot water spring. Explore the village of Vashishtha, known for its hot sulphur springs and ancient temples dedicated to Sage Vashishtha and Lord Rama.
Trek to Ravalikoli (3750m):
Duration: 5 hours
The trail ascends gradually, offering stunning views of the Manali valley and peaks like Hanuman Tibba, Makarbeh, and Shikharbeh. Reach Ravalikoli, situated above the tree line.
High Altitude Trekking in Ravalikoli Region
Trek to Bhrigu Lake (3750m)
Trek to Bhrigu Lake (4235m) and Descend to Tehli (3500m)
Duration: 7 hours
Embark on a trek to Bhrigu Lake, enjoying panoramic views. Descend to Tehli, a Gaddi campsite near the tree line, as local customs prohibit camping at the lake.
Trek from Ravalikoli to 14 Mod and Transfer to Manali
Duration: 4 hours
The trek concludes at Ravalikoli. A vehicle will transport you back to Manali.
Explore Manali Bazaar
After the morning activity session, the group is free to explore Manali Bazaar, known for its dry fruits, handloom, woolen caps, handicrafts, Kullu shawls, and more. Evening departure to New Delhi by bus.
Return Journey to Nagpur.
Reach the station and proceed to Nagpur.
Arrival in Home Cities and Dispersal
Reach Nagpur and conclude the adventure with dispersal.
