Arrive at the Nagpur Railway Station to commence the journey to Ambala.
Upon reaching Ambala, continue the expedition to Manali by Volvo bus.
Upon reaching Manali, proceed to Camp Apple Farm, located near the Nehru Kund rope bridge in the picturesque village of Shanag. Manali, situated at the northern end of the Kullu Valley, provides breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and lush wooded slopes. The day's activities comprise setting up camp, orientation, equipment introduction, and an acclimatizing walk to Gautama Rishi Ashram in Goshal Village.
Embark on a trek to Jogini Fall and Vashishtha Kund (Natural Hot Water Spring). Vashishtha Kund, located 3 km from Manali, is renowned for its hot sulphur springs and ancient temples dedicated to Sage Vashishtha and Lord Rama.
Explore Old Manali with visits to Manu Mandir, dedicated to the sage Manu, and Hadimba Mandir, also known as Dhoongri Temple, featuring a four-tiered pagoda-shaped roof and beautiful carved door.
Commence the journey from Manali, passing through Solang Nullah. The road follows the Beas River to Dhundi, marking the end of the road. The camp is a short walk away.
Duration: 3 hours. Gradually ascending, the trail continues to the scenic campsite at Bhakartach.
Duration: 6 hours. Trek over moraine to Beas Kund, the birthplace of the river Beas. After spending time at Beas Kund, trace the path back to Dhundi. The trek concludes at Dhundi, where a vehicle will pick up the group and drop them back at the camp.
After the morning activity session, the group is free to explore Manali Bazaar, famous for various items including dry fruits, handloom, woolen caps, handicrafts, Kullu shawls, and grass shoes. Evening Departure to Ambala by Volvo
Reach Ambala and proceed to Nagpur by Amritsar Exp. (22126) at 3:55 pm.
Arrive in Nagpur at 3:45 am, concluding the expedition.
